The following report is a list of legislation currently pending in the Michigan Legislature that is of concern to Michigan Waste Industries Association and its members. The MWIA actively monitors legislation that may impact the industry, MWIA members and our ability to serve our community, business and residential customer waste disposal needs. The association and its members work with lawmakers, regulators and other public policy organizations to ensure strict compliance with all Michigan laws while protecting our ability to provide the best, most affordable waste disposal services to Michigan citizens.
